I think she might be 5 ft 8 because Tom Hardy (who we all know is a short guy around 173.5 cm) was standing next to her in a premiere photo shoot promoting Mad Max and despite wearing what appears to be standard 3 or 4 inch heels she was just barely taller than him and he didn't appear to be wearing extreme lifts like Vin Diesel wears. One thing I do know is that this lady is excellent in everything she does, and I can't think of a better actress to take on such a challenging role. She is wary of everyone, and who can blame her? I'll see how this film develops and get back with her height. So far, the normally beautiful Charlize doesn't look as tall as she normally does in high heels. I would say that I am in for a disturbing ride with this film. She has just met the character played by Nicholas Hoult, and he is considerably taller than Charlize's Libby. She dresses in a way to keep public attention at bay, wearing a cap to cover her hair and her clothes are plain. They send her money, but she has become a celebrity through no fault of her own. Now, many years later, Charlize, who plays a girl called Libby Day, has grown up, and unfortunately for her, the public's interest in her as a victim, is abnormally high. It starts off in the year 1985, where Charlize, as a little girl, has just had her sisters and mother slain. I have just started to watch a Charlize Theron film called 'Dark Places'. Her hair was long and blonde in 'Monster', remember, a film for which she piled on the pounds and messed up her skin, but won multi awards for her awesome performance.Īlways great to chat with you, Arch, and I bid you a good - and safe - weekend! Cheers, Sandy XX □□ Those days are over - I'm not doing anything to jeopardize my long hair, which has just started dangling into my mugs of tea! You'll get superfans on any star's website, and I doubt Charlize would have the time nor the inclination to get involved in an argument over her hairstyle! □ I thought it rather suited her she has the sort of face that can carry off any style. I find it interesting, as indeed I do finding out what I look like with different hair colours and lengths. Personally, I enjoy seeing stars, especially women, with as many different hair colours and styles as possible - whatever their roles call for. I remember the chemistry of her and Keanu from 'The Devil's Advocate' and I expect it would carry on into any other films they make together. Miss Sandy Cowell said on Arch Stanton - I have seen neither 'The Last Face' nor 'Sweet November', and I'm not thinking of hunting them down any time in the near future! I prefer to stick to the likes of 'Monster', 'The Devil's Advocate' and just lately, 'Dark Places', which was another good character study of hers.
